Beschrijving: We are searching for an intern to join our dynamic team of young, globally-minded professionals at our headquarters in Amsterdam, per September 2009. If you are doing (or just finished) a bachelor in business (or business related areas) and are looking for a challenging internship in an international organization, send us your CV! The organization: The International Student Identity Card Association (ISIC Association) is an international, not-for-profit membership association of the World Youth Student and Educational Travel Confederation (WYSE Travel Confederation). Member organisations are the world\'s leaders in developing specialised student and youth travel products and services. The ISIC association and the WYSE Travel Confederation are managed by a wholly owned professional management organisation called IAS, based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The International Student Identity Card (ISIC) is the primary product offered by the ISIC Association. The ISIC is the only internationally recognised proof of full-time student status and is endorsed as such by UNESCO, the European Council on Culture, the Community of Andean Nations, national governments and ministries of education, universities, academic institutions and student organisations worldwide. It is sold each year to approximately 4 million students in 120 countries, and gives access to a portfolio of tens of thousands of student services and benefits worldwide, ranging from hotels to entertainment, from shopping to museums, and from travel to restaurants. The main tasks of the ISIC intern will be divided between: -Supporting Market Research project and/or evaluation of internal processes project. -Supporting administrative activities and special projects of the ISIC team. The working schedule: 4-5 days per week, 8 hours per day, during a period of 3-6 months beginning in September 2009. The ideal candidate: -Student in the later stages (3rd or 4th / last year) of his/her study in the area(s) of international communications or business and/or related fields; -Excellent command of written and spoken English is necessary. Fluency in other languages is an asset; -Flexible, “no task is too big, no task is too small” mentality. We offer: -a valuable experience working within an international organisation specialising in the unique needs and interests of youth and students; -an informal but highly professional work environment; -coaching and support (also, if needed, on the elaboration of academic reports); -a variety of tasks that will help the student develop different skills, both related to their study and to day-to-day business processes; -a compensation stipend.
