Interested in an internship at Unmanageable Artists?

Unmanageable Artists is a young but dynamic company, specializing in Artist Management for some of the most respected DJ/Producers within the global dance scene. Our office is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Since it’s establishment 8 years ago, UA has become a specialist within the music industry and also handles a variety of consultancies and special projects for third parties.

The music industry is ever changing and extremely demanding. With UA being on the forefront of the business any position within the company is very challenging and creates fantastic opportunities. This is no 9 to 5 environment. We are looking for someone preferably studying at a HBO degree level. The duration of the internship is negotiable, with a minimum timeframe of 6 months. To be able to apply for the position, ownership of a laptop is required.

The right person for this internship will be a talented individual with a passion to excel in:

- Love and understanding of (dance) music
- Excellent command of the English language
- Eager to learn and develop self
(talents, skills, knowledge)
- Knows how to take responsibility
- Great attention to detail
- At ease working with programs like Word
and Excel, Photoshop
- Good understanding of the publicity and
exploitation possibilities of digital media

Tasks:

- Answer incoming calls
- Updating the websites for all our artists
(keeping all sections up to date), seeing to
it that communities, website options etc are
put to full use.
- Follow set out strategies, regarding
marketing and search engine optimization,
- Support in supplying press partners with
content such as radio mixes, press shots,
biography’s etc.
- Helping out on all current releases our
artists have momentarily. Pr- wise and in all
other ways assistance is needed
- Work on realizing future weekly or bi-weekly
newsletter for every separate artist on the
unmanageable roster
- Taking an active roll in the development of
new media, seeking new options to
maximize our artists profile boost.
- Helping out with office management
- Working on events organized by us or in
cooperation with us regarding our artists
and brands.
