Beschrijving: Expereo is a leading global Hybrid Network Operator providing a unique portfolio of wholesale connectivity services in more than 200 countries to international carriers, system integrators and solution providers. We offer services such as Internet access, Ethernet access, virtual private network services and hardware. Expereo’s headquarter is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Other offices are based in the United States, Singapore, Mexico and Russia. Place in the organisation The Provider Desk Representative is a member of the Carrier Relations EMEA team, and reports to the Director Carrier Relations for the EMEA region. Job purpose and scope The Provider Desk Representative is interfacing with Expereo’s providers with regard to (1) checking availability of services, (2) requesting / negotiating pricing and terms and (3) checking lead times. The key objective is to obtain healthy margins for Expereo and services that meet customer demands. Each Provider Desk Representative will be working with a pre-defined set of providers (primarily based on regions). Key responsibilities The key activities for this position are: » Submitting and chasing requests (for services, pricing and /or lead times) with providers in the Americas region. » Selecting providers / services based on customer requirements, quality and margins. » Negotiating pricing / terms when required by sales. » Updating the results in the appropriate back office system (BOSS) » Alerting / advising the appropriate Carrier Relations Manager about changes within countries and performance of providers. Education and work experience » Bachelors degree or equivalent. » Result driven, persistent and a strong commercial/procurement sense. » Fluency in spoken and written English is essential. Other languages (Russian, Chinese, Dutch, Arabic are benefitial) » Basic understanding of data / Internet services. » Willingness to work unsociable hours and comfortable in a high-paced dynamic, work environment.
